We¡¯ve seen amazing ML-driven outcomes in healthcare, the creator economy, and business operations, and become convinced that machine learning is poised to have a profound impact on the way we live and work.We have also learned that it is still far too difficult to build end-to-end product solutions that use machine learning. Despite the rapidly decreasing cost of training and the increasing prevalence of effective pre-trained models, the vast majority of gains are yet to be realized. At Baseten, we¡¯re building towards a future where many more ML models get used to drive real-world outcomes instead of being abandoned in Jupyter notebooks.We¡¯re a small team of builders backed by top-tier venture capital firms and angel investors including the founders of OpenAI, Figma, and DeepMind.
